Fall Cleanse

PREPARATION

Woohooo! Welcome to the Ayurveda  Cleanse!

This starts with 1 week of prep and then a 2-week cleanse. It will be the perfect way to cleanse your body in preparation for autumn and winter.  Good on YOU for planning ahead to feel amazing!

During the preparatory week we set you up for success during the cleanse:

  • Listen to the prep recording here!
  • On this call we will review the cleanse guidelines, Ayurvedic principles and dosha types, and answer any pressing questions
  • You'll also be gathering your ingredients and any supportive materials/herbs/supplements you would like to use during the cleanse during this week
  • Use this time to start making introductions and connections in the community forum

  • If you don't yet know your Ayurvedic constitution type,  or "dosha," start learning more by filling out these fun activity sheets: download them now by CLICKING HEREThis will give you a basic idea of your Ayurvedic constitution, which we will refer to throughout the cleanse.
  • If you didn't register for the Jedi Juice call on Ayurvedic Wisdom in the past, have a listen to the call by clicking here to go to the replay page. It will give you some good Ayurvedic Basics to build a foundation before the cleanse and help you learn more about your doshas and other good stuffs;).
  • We will be using the guidelines from Dr. Douillard's Ayurvedic "Colorado Cleanse." Download the Ayurvedic Detox Guidebook we will be using throughout the cleanse below
  • Please read through this before the prep week starts so that you can ask any questions you have on our live call.
  • Prepare for the cleanse so you set yourself up for success!

  • Try to schedule social events involving food and drink that aren't cleanse-friendly around the cleanse so you aren't tempted to fall off the wagon during the cleanse
  • Try not to schedule too many hectic activities during the cleanse, as your body will be working on cleansing and will do it more effectively if it isn't stressed out
  • Buy some basic items before we start on April 1st by referencing the Detox Guidebook

You'll be receiving daily email updates as well as more recipe ideas once the cleanse starts, so for now, just focus on reading through the materials and setting yourself up for an amazing cleanse.

  • Start thinking about if you want to order supportive supplements for the cleanse. These are optional but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. You will receive more information about this option in the next activity.

The herbal supplements I recommend are specific to Ayurvedic cleansing and are Ayurvedic herbal formulas. They will ensure your body detoxes most efficiently during the cleanse. People from past cleanses found adding herbs to their cleanse really kicked it up a notch, and I use herbal supplements primarily during cleanses and not at any other time, because they DO make a difference for me during the cleanses.

Shipping takes up to 5 days in the US, depending on how far you are form Boulder, CO where the herbs are shipped from. You will have the option of a complete kit with herbs, Kitchari packets, ghee, and massage oil, or just the herbs. Keep an eye out for the details!

The recordings for the call replays are found in each respective lesson.

Call recordings last approximately 60-75 minutes:

  • This call is released immediately and can be found in the Welcome Lesson as the last activity
  • The second call is released April 8th and helps you start the Detox with confidence!
  • The third call is released April 17th to help you wrap up the cleanse and learn more about continuing with an Ayurvedic lifestyle.

Order Supplements

complete at least 5 days before you plan to start

I bet you're rearing to go - I am! The days are growing longer, and YOU are getting ready to get your Glow on for Spring;)

ORDER HERBS NOW if you want to use them. This will give you plenty of time to prep - unless you live outside of the US! Shipping to Canada and the UK has historically taken forever, so I am sorry if you live abroad - but the free eBook has great substitution ideas!

The supplements and herbs are optional, and ordering now gives you enough time to receive them before the active cleansing begins so that you can be chillaxed about being prepared.

If you are planning on using the Ayurvedic herbs, please don't delay ordering them...you'll be much more mellow if all is in place during the prep week. And this whole chillaxing thing is going to be an important part of the cleanse too;)

For the herbs/supplements, there are two options you need to consider:

1) Simply Herbs - this is what I recommend if you are pretty good about cooking on your own, have the time to do it, and are comfortable with the recipe suggestions in the eBook. Then you don't need the culinary support provided in the other kit (below)

2) Repeat Cleanser Kit: All herbs, plus 10 packets of organic, vegan, natural kitchari (4 cups each packet), massage oil (4oz, for self-massage), and 7.5oz of high-quality ghee (if you don't know what these things are, check out the guidebook you downloaded in the previous lesson 😉 This is better if you want to have some easy-to-prepare meals ready that are cleanse friendly, as well as have the ghee and massage oil ready to go for the cleanse.

As with all my cleanses, you'll be able to use alternatives to the herbs as well if you decide not to purchase these. Suggestions for alternatives are all offered in the eBook - and they're really helpful!

However, for this particular cleanse, I recommend you really consider the herbs because, well, this IS an Ayurvedic cleanse and these ARE Ayurvedic herbs that are made to support an Ayurvedic-specific cleanse;) Plus, its admittedly hella convenient to have them all delivered to your door.

No matter what you decide: please know and trust that you will gain benefit from the cleanse - supplements or not. This is more about power-boosting your progress during the cleanse using herbs. If you don't use these, please seriously consider using the suggested alternatives.

You can read more about each of the herbs - and their awesome benefits and purpose during the cleanse - at the bottom of this email.

IMPORTANT: when ordering the herbs, during the checkout process be sure to specify if:

When you eat a late, heavy, or rich meal, you tend towards
1) acid reflux and heartburn
2) gas and bloating, or
3) if you feel just fine.

This will help me choose the best digestive formula for you.
