How the Course Works

We have dozens of people in the course, and more keep coming, so know that you're not alone!

Most people take over one month to do the course, and you'll receive lessons, support, and lots of tools throughout. Come into this knowing you are going to have tons of evidence-based tools to help you meet your goals - AND know that you will get out of this course what you put into it.

If you commit to this course and do the work, you will see progress. If it becomes a non-priority, you won't see the progress. So - commit to the course NOW. Block out time for the activities, the calls, and for holding yourself accountable. You've got this!

As quick way to remember some actions you can take right now and every day of the course:

  • Always plan your drinking at least 24 hours in advance (more on that in the Foundations Sections).
  • Always keep track of your urges (more on that in the first Quick-start video) and allow them when you don't have a drink planned - don' resist them (and don't give in to them either;).

Active Listening - how to use the Q&A calls

Use the Active Listening worksheet to take notes while you listen to the recorded coaching calls. Active listening will help you get the most out of the calls. We can all learn so much from listening to others' questions!

Don't let your perfectionist brain fixate on filling this out "correctly," because that will actually distract you! If you prefer notes in a notebook you keep, that's fine. If you only answer 1 or 2 of the questions that's fine. If you only use it for some of the calls, that's fine. Noticing a pattern?

It's all fine! 

This is not the only way to learn from watching coaching calls, but it's a helpful guide if you want some structure for processing them. You can re-use this workbook as many times as you want - just save a new copy for each.
