Week 1

Foundation & Visioning

This is first day in the Ziji Up! Mastery Program 🙂 Here we goooo!

First: Week 1 has 3 training videos
(most weeks have fewer).

Be sure to watch your training videos when you have time to do the accompanying activities - this isn't just about learning how to live your bad-ass life - it's about DOING it!

This first week has a lot more videos than others, so don't worry - the video trainings are shorter the following weeks;)

I'll admit there is a lot of content here - but that's what you came here for!

Second: Please be sure to print out the worksheets below

Watch the videos with your journal and favorite pen ready. I highly recommend getting cozy and having a preferred beverage on hand as well. 😉

Take your time absorbing the material, and feel free to watch it in chunks instead of all at once. The Intro video is only 16 minutes. The second video, The Ziji Up! System, is 25 minutes.

The third video, Visioning, is just under 30 minutes. However, it has journaling activities as well, during which you will be asked to pause the video to complete them. Allow about 45 minutes to an hour to complete the third video and its activities.

You will find each of these videos in the next activities after you mark this one as "complete" or by using the dots at the upper left to progress to each activity.

TECHY UPDATE: Due to a technological issue, right now the videos look/sound like kung-fu dubbed movies, and to watch them may be distracting since the sound doesn't match my mouth all the time.

To help you in the meantime, my assistant extracted the audio files from them so that you can just listen to them and not have to deal with the error. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon, but in the meantime, please enjoy the audios...or the kung-fun-style Ziji videos!

Third: Each activity for the week is labeled Day 1, 2, 3 etc. You can wait to do the activities one day at a time...OR you can do them in chunks when you have time throughout the week. Some people like to take a 3-4 hour block and spend it all on Ziji time. It's up to you!

Body Challenge

Your body challenge for the week (you'll get one of these a week)
Move your body at least 20 minutes every day.

This means that even if you're a workout fiend, you must still move on your days off. The idea is to make moving your body a habit, and not just see it as "exercise." This is one challenge that I recommend you keep for the entire program. So, go for a walk. Walking is totally doable. Or do yoga (you can search for 10 or 20-minute yoga or Pilates workouts on YouTube). Or run. Or hike. This is at least 20-minutes straight, and not a bunch of 2-3 minute segments added up. A very lovely way to do this - especially if it is warmer out - is to go for an after-dinner evening stroll with yourself, a buddy, your awesome dog, or your special someone.
