It's time for a new week!
Clearing and Letting Go
I LOVE this step of letting go. When we clear obstacles and things that no longer serve us, we create space for what we want - all the things you've been creating in your intentions and clarity work - to come to us with more ease. Ahhhh. I can breathe more deeply just thinking about this step! I can think of things to let go of everyday that help to Ziji Up. Before you start your video training, I want you to do two important activities:
1) Make a list of what you DON'T want. Don't focus on this energy of what you don't want for too long. Remember: where attention goes, energy flows. However, do pay attention to what you don't want so that you can learn from what you've been through in the last few weeks and not make the same mistakes twice. I would like you to take a piece of paper, write down things you don't want in your life anymore, then ceremoniously burn it. As it burns, release those things, surrender them to your Higher Power. Let them go internally, emotionally, energetically, so that you can move on to bigger and better and more fantastic things..
Examples would be: I don't NOT want: to continue in my abusive relationship, to live in an unsafe neighborhood, have a job that drains me, let my brother continually criticize me, to keep watching TV every night...etc.
2) Make a list of things you are tolerating. This is similar to the things that you don't want, but the quality here is different because when we are "tolerating" something, it is implied that we could do something about, yet choose not to. It is important to become aware of what in your life you are immediately tolerating (there's a sheet attached if you'd like to you use that)
Examples are: a room that has a wall color you really dislike, not exercising, clothes that don't fit, a partner who doesn't respect your needs (not that they suck at trying! but rather that they actually don't respect your needs), a friend complains and you feel exhausted every time you hang out with them, crappy home appliances that you are constantly struggling with....you get the point;)
We will come back to this later, but in the meantime, work on addressing these things one at a time so that you can do what it takes to change them, or change your perspective about them.
Remember: many of the videos also don't need to be "watched," per se. Feel free to press play and listen to the audio while you close your eyes;)
