You asked for it, you got it!

This month's theme is Mindfulness for Rebels, and you'll be experimenting with and creating a meditation practice of your own (yes, even if you can't sit still, we have options for you) as well as embarking on a 28-day Spiritual Cleanse.

What exactly is a "spiritual cleanse?" It will help you explore different types of meditation and other practices so that you can see what totally lights your fire. Some people just try one type of meditation and think, "Oh well, mindfulness isn't for me." But there are so many other ways to practice!

It will be a nice break from the more "cerebral" work we've been doing around thoughtwork...and just as powerful - if not moreso.

The 28-Day Spiritual Cleanse Guide has daily prompts and worksheets, so be sure to check those out at your own pace. You can also download Meditation: A Brief Overview which gives a basic background to meditation and offers different types to explore. It acts as a companion to the 28-Day Spiritual Cleanse.

But this is about more than meditation. 

While meditation is a way to establish a regular practice, mindfulness is the overarching theme through all of this. And mindfulness happens OFF THE CUSHION as well.

the whole purpose of this is to live a more mindful life.

Which means you'll naturally live a more full life. A more present life. A life more AWAKE. WILD awake (and no, that wasn't a typo - I mean WILD.)

I recommend you move through the month in this order:

  • Download and read Meditation: A Brief Overview and start the 28-Day Spiritual Cleanse using the downloadable guide

This briefly reviews the origins of meditation and gives examples of different meditation techniques and styles for you to try out. It's also a companion to the 28-Day Spiritual Cleanse daly prompts.

This booklet gives you an overview of mindfulness meditation and helps you establish a home practice.

28 Day Spiritual Cleanse

Over the course of 28 days, explore what spirituality is for you and establish your own home practice. Use the Meditation booklet to give you more information about the different topics each day.
